About this product
A sealed non-toxic gel pack in a soft fabric sleeve, usable hot or cold. Warm it in a microwave for a minute or leave it in the freezer — the gel stays pliable at both temperatures, so it moulds to a shoulder, a knee or the lower back rather than sitting as a rigid slab.
The sleeve is the part that makes this usable: it stops the gel touching skin directly, which is how a cold pack becomes a burn and a hot one becomes a scald. It is washable and replaceable. This is a comfort product for general relaxation. It is not a medical device and it treats nothing.

Using it
How to use the pack
Hot or cold, the sleeve stays on and the timing stays short. Those are the two rules that matter.

Keep the sleeve on
Never apply the gel pack directly to bare skin. The fabric sleeve is what protects you from a burn or a scald, and it should stay on every time.

Warm in 30-second steps
Microwave for 30 seconds, knead, then another 30 if needed. Never more than 90 seconds in total, and never in an oven or a pan of water.

Cool in the freezer for two hours
Lay it flat. It stays pliable rather than freezing solid, so it will mould to you straight out of the freezer.

Twenty minutes, then rest
Use it for roughly 20 minutes, then leave at least 20 minutes before going again. If it feels too hot or too cold through the sleeve, take it off.

Can I use it hot and cold?
Yes, that is the point of the gel. Warm it in the microwave or chill it in the freezer — the same pack works both ways.
How long does the cold last?
About 20 minutes out of a freezer, which is roughly how long a session should be anyway.
Can I sleep with it on?
No. Use it for roughly 20 minutes, then take it off. Do not sleep in it and do not use it on broken skin.
